Barf. I can’t stand that princess crap. It’s interesting, though. Sexism in the world came before Disney started capitalizing on it by creating these characters. They embody and represent what the world is like in many ways. But reinforcing this idea of sexism with the glorification of “princesses” is just antithetical to parenting to me. I have never understand the whole “princess” themed bedrooms, parties, costumes. If your kid socializes much, it is very hard to avoid because many little girls are into it.
Hysterical and sad!
Oh, and how about the parent issues with Disney princesses, too? * scary *
